In addition to professional technology, Li-Shang Printing is also very concerned about renewable resources, environmental protection, and corporate social responsibility issues, and is committed to promoting green packaging based on the 3R1D (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Degradable) principle. We not only have ISO 9001:2015 and Sedex international certifications, but also use environmentally friendly and non-toxic all-vegetable oil inks in printing inks. In 2016, we obtained FSC™ (Forest Stewardship Council) certification, becoming a company capable of producing FSC™ products; and later obtained ISO14064 and HACCP certifications to control carbon emissions and food safety, contributing to corporate social responsibility.
The Forest Stewardship Council ® (FSC™) is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization established to promote the sustainable management of the world’s forests. FSC™ wood products (including paper) are considered "forest-friendly" products.
According to the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), deforestation leads to global temperature rise and is one of the major causes of climate change, posing a significant threat to the environment. Trees are composed of 50% carbon; when they are cut down or burned, the stored carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere. Approximately 20% (1.6 billion tons) of greenhouse gas emissions released into the atmosphere each year are caused by deforestation. In addition, according to statistics from the World Resources Institute, tropical rainforests are disappearing at the fastest rate among all forest types. From 1960 to 1990, one-fifth of the world’s tropical rainforests vanished, which means tropical rainforests are disappearing at a rate of 22 hectares per minute globally.
The more you choose to use FSC™ certified wood products, the faster this problem can be addressed (you are using your purchasing power to encourage more wood product manufacturers to use FSC™ certified forest materials). For example, companies such as IKEA, B&Q, and Home Depot have begun using FSC™ wood. Similarly, HSBC, Xerox, and other organizations have chosen to use FSC™ certified paper products.
Through FSC-FM (Forest Management) and FSC-CoC (Chain of Custody), it ensures that the products you use come from cultivated forests.
